Who Can Participate in the Fall & Winter leagues?
Boys and girls of any skill level in the 3rd-12th grades are welcome to participate in league play. All grade references are to the current school year.
Players will be assigned to age and/or skill-appropriate team groupings according to the following divisions:
3-4th Grade Division / 5-6th Grade Division / 7-8th Grade Division
High School JV Division (experienced freshmen / sophomores / juniors)*
* two HS divisions may be formed depending upon registrations received.
What Do I Need to Play?
League participants will only be permitted to participate if they come outfitted with all of the necessary protective gear incidental to the sport of lacrosse (including protective cups and mouth guards).
**Need equipment? Visit our Parent's Corner for some helpful information**
Are there practices or just games?
All league players will have 1-hour games (game-count will vary by session - see registration site for current info).
Is there any instruction during the games?
Players can benefit from on and off-the-field instruction from our coaches during league play. Parents are invited to come and watch all league games and interact with our coaches to learn more about the game and gain insights to their player's development.
How many minutes of game time will my son be guaranteed?
There are no minimum or maximum requirements or guarantees for a player's time on the field however changes are made throughout the game by our coaches. Based on our experience as players and coaches over the past 25 years, we encourage all players to be open to playing any position on the field (with the exception of goalie!) so that more playing time and a broader experience in the game can be had.
Off-season leagues are great opportunities to learn more. Can an attackman become better by playing defense? Absolutely!
