"I think he really enjoyed the clincs and to be quite honest, I have not seem him pick-up a sport with any enthusiasm as he did at your intro clinic." - East Side Dad Michael
SUMMER CAMP REGISTER NOW!
Our Introduction to Lacrosse Camp is offered every summer and provides age-appropriate fundamental skills instruction for beginning boys and girls players with up to 1-year of spring team experience. The Summer Camp is our most popular program and takes place over three 2-hour evening sessions with special instruction for the boys and girls game (different sticks, different rules!). Sticks are available for rental or purchase as a part of registration. Local coaches from the Boys' & Girls' game will be on-staff for our players and their parents. Prize drawings and skill contests make the camp a fun and great experience for all. Parents are welcome to watch, learn, and get some great photos of their player taking their first shots on goal.
INTRODUCTION TO LACROSSE CLINICS (COMING THIS FALL & WINTER!)
Offered in the Fall and Winter for Boys & Girls, our "Intro" sessions bring the Summer Camp instruction to six 1-hour sessions. Level I consists of 3 sessions which provide an introduction to the fundamentals of the game without need of an equipment purchase. Sticks are available for rental or puchase as a part of clinic registration. Level II consists of the final 3 sessions which require protective equipment for both boys and girls to participate. East Side recommends completion of these sessions before participation in a spring or off-season league. Coaches from the Boy's & Girl's game will be on staff for our players and their parents. Register for both Level I and II together and save!
* We do recommend girls purchase a "girls" stick for the Intro Clinics. They are different than the boys' sticks and will be more benficial.
BASIC TRAINING CLINICS (COMING THIS FALL - instruction on The Lacrosse Offense, Shooting, and Goalie Play)
Our Basic Training instructional series are designed to take an experienced player to a higher level within their age-group. With the growth of the sport of lacrosse bringing programs 5, 10, 20 or more years of experience, programs can now find themselves losing ground to even newer teams that have greater knowledge of the game. In response to a growing need for our players to understand offensive and defensive strategies, excel at position-specific skills, and be a contributor to their team's play, East Side offers various opportunities throughout the year for work on lacrosse offense and defense, goalie play, shooting, and One-on-One play. **Please take note of the dates for each clinic at our registration site as each clinic may be offered in 1, 2, 3 or 6-session blocks.**
HIGH SCHOOL PLAYER TRAINING (COMING THIS FALL)
High school player training sessions focus on different skills each week and incorporate a high rep work-out for the players to work on each skill set. From ground balls and face-offs to fast breaks and odd-man rushes, players will get group training to keep them sharp or advance their level of play. Players are encouraged to sign-up with their teammates to maximize their advantage!
PRIVATE INSTRUCTION (COMING THIS FALL)
Private training is our recommended instructional setting for players who could not attend a regularly scheduled clinic or camp or who just want to make-up some ground on their peers. This year-round instruction is open to players of any age or skill level and has served many players who are trying to make their school's team, break bad habits, or just step-up their play to be recognized and meet their personal goals.
