Summer League games will be played at Macomb Corners Park near Suburban Ice Arena (North side of 25 Mile Road, East of Romeo Plank). The league consists of 6 games during the months of June and July (MHSAA does not permit play during the 4th of July Holiday week!).    Games are played on weekday evenings between 5-9 PM with the younger divisions playing in the early evening and high school divisions closing out each session.  Check out the homepage for the times for each division.

As with all East Side programs, the latest details are posted before and during the summer league for parents to access the latest info on registration deadlines, game times, special events, cancellations due to weather, etc.

What Do I Need to Play?

All players will need an East Side reversible jersey to play.  These jerseys are good for all league play offered by East Side each year so there is no need to purchase one each year.  Jerseys can be purchased at the time of registration for $25.

All players will be required to come outfitted with all of the necessary protective gear incidental to the sport of lacrosse (including protective cups and mouth guards).  Visit our Parents’ Corner for some helpful equipment information.

Are there practices or just games?

The U9 division will have a fun 20-minute skill practice before their game each evening.  All other divisions will play 1-hour full-field games.

Is there any instruction during the games?

Players can benefit from on-field instruction from coaches and referees during league play - referees will be working at all games for grades 5-12. Parents and coaches are invited to come and watch all league games and our instruction and speak to our coaches and guest college players to find out more about lacrosse.
